About Me

Michael A. Gottlieb, MD, is an otolaryngologist for the Allegheny Health Network. Dr. Gottlieb specializes in otolaryngology, with special expertise and interest in head and neck cancer, thyroid/salivary gland surgery, sinonasal disorders, as well as hearing/balance problems, voice/swallowing disorders and general ENT problems such as throat and ear infections.

After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry at Allegheny College, he completed his medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residencies in general surgery and otolaryngology at the Temple University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons

Dr. Gottlieb is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology, American Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Allegheny County Medical Society. He is a past president of the Pittsburgh Otologic Society and former member of the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
