About Me
Dean F. Lomago, MD has been certified as a Cardiovascular Surgeon by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery since 2003. He has practiced Cardiovascular and Thoracic (CVT) Surgery as a physician with Three Rivers Cardiac Institute (TRCI) from 2002-2005 and 2013-Present. In 2005, Dr. Lomago relocated to Yuma, Arizona where he was the Director of the Quality Management and Surgical Care Improvement Project at the Yuma Regional Medical Center. In 2011 he joined the Carolinas Hospital System, a leading regional medical center in Florence South Carolina as a CVT surgeon bringing pioneering techniques to the Florence metropolitan area. He brought his vast experience and expertise back to Western Pennsylvania in 2013 when he rejoined TRCI. He performs on and off pump open heart surgical procedures and open as well as minimally invasive surgical treatment of lung and vascular diseases.
Dr. Lomago has patient office hours in Butler and Seneca and is on staff at both The Ellwood City Hospital and the Butler Memorial Hospital.
