About Me

Dr. Andrew Sedillo completed his medical school training at the University of Monterrey and his residency in psychiatry and subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is Board-Eligible to become a Diplomate of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is happy to join the Matthews-Vu Behavioral Health Team, where he will conduct Pediatric Psychiatric Diagnostic and Evaluation Clinics, as well as Psychopharmacology Clinics.

Since 2010, he has provided outpatient pediatric and adult psychiatric services for the patients in the Colorado Springs community. When he is not providing clinical care, he engages in neuroscience research as the Principal Investigator and Medical Director of all Central Nervous Studies at the MCB Clinical Research Center. He has completed over 150 (Phase I-IV) Scientific Studies and has participated in multiple neuroscience publications and presentations. His primary areas of clinical and research expertise include Pediatric focuses on Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder,
ADHD, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pharmacogenomics, and other Mood and Anxiety Disorders.


Dr. Sedillo and his wife, Claudia, have a daughter and son. The Sedillo family enjoys hockey, music, cooking and all of the wonderful outdoor activities that the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
