About Me

<p>With his compassionate approach and excellent surgical expertise, Gary Bong, MD, is a well-respected member of the Pikes Peak Urology team serving the community of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He specializes in laparoscopic surgeries, including laparoscopic cryotherapy for kidney cancer as well as daVinci&reg; robotic surgery for prostatectomy and cystectomy procedures. </p>

<p>Dr. Bong attended medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. Following graduation, he completed his general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, earning the distinction of being recognized as Intern of the Year. He then stayed at the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his residency training in urology, with an emphasis on minimally invasive oncologic surgery. </p>

<p>In addition to work with Pikes Peak Urology, Dr. Bong is the Chief of Robotic Urologic Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the best surgical urologic care possible.</p>
