About Me

<p>With a distinguished career both in and out of the medical field, Henry Rosevear, MD, has established himself as a respected and well-loved member of the Pikes Peak Urology team serving the community of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Rosevear has excelled in both the clinical as well as the research setting and has a wide skill base in urologic oncology. In addition, he is proficient in laparoscopic and daVinci&reg; robotic surgery. </p>

<p>Prior to his medical career, Dr. Rosevear proudly served in the Navy as an officer on board a fast attack submarine, the USS Pittsburgh. During his time in the navy, he served in two deployments to the Persian Gulf, including combat experience as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for his service and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. </p>

<p>Dr. Rosevear completed medical school at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, graduating with both academic and research distinction. He then moved to the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where he completed his general surgery internship as well as his urology residency. </p>

<p>In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Rosevear has published over two dozen academic articles and multiple book chapters, mostly about urologic oncology. </p>
