About Me

Dr. Jerald W. Katz is a Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in diseases of the bones and joints, with a particular interest in pediatric and adolescent orthopedics.
Dr. Katz is a graduate of Bucknell University and earned his Doctorate in Medicine at New York Medical College. He completed a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Boston University followed by a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Tampa, Florida. He practiced Orthopedic Surgery with Coastal Orthopaedics in Fall River for over 25 years, joining Prima CARE Orthopedics in 2015.
Dr. Katz is Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS). He has taught Orthopedic Surgery and has served as the Chairman of the Orthopedics Department at Saint Anne's Hospital.
Dr. Katz sees patients at his Prima CARE office on the main Prima CARE campus in Fall River and on Slade's Ferry Boulevard in Somerset.
