About Me
<p>Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Weiss received his Bachelors degree from Rutgers University, and completed his medical school education at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His residency training in orthopaedic surgery was completed at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where he continued his fellowship training in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery.</p>
<p>He has extensive experience in hand and microvascular surgery as well as complex wrist and elbow reconstruction. His expertise has led to numerous scientific publications and he has given presentations on various subjects regarding hand, wrist, and elbow surgery.</p>
<p>Dr. Weiss has served in multiple academic roles, and is faculty with the prestigious AO-North American Hand Group. He serves as the Chief, Division of Hand Surgery, at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Trauma Center.</p>
<p>In his spare time, Dr. Weiss enjoys running and road biking, as well as spending time with his family.</p>
