Dr. Prudencio Lucero, or as we know him, JoJo Lucero is the founder of Wexford Cardiology. He earned his degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University of the East. He did his internal medicine residency at McNeal Hospital and his cardiovascular and fellowship training at Allegheny General Hospital. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Allegheny Medical Society, American Board of Internal Medicine, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, Critical Care Medicine, and the American Heart Association. He is currently Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography, Critical Care Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology.
