<p>Dr. Stone is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hip and knee surgeon. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he completed his medical school, orthopedic residency, and a fellowship specializing in hip and knee replacement.</p>
<p>In 2019, Dr. Stone returned to Southwest Florida and joined OSSWF. His practice primarily focuses on managing hip and knee-related problems, from straightforward to complex cases. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive direct anterior total hip replacement and is one of the most experienced surgeons in Southwest Florida with this complex procedure. He also specializes in computer-assisted/robotic surgery, partial and total knee replacement, complex joint replacement surgery, and the revision of failed joint replacements. Additionally, he is skilled in fracture care, including the management of periprosthetic fractures.</p>
<p>Dr. Stone grew up in Southwest Florida and enjoys spending time on the water with his wife, son, and daughter. He also enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing golf.</p>
