About Me
Amit J. Thosani, MD is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Allegheny General Hospital. He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. He completed fellowships in clinical cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Josephson, a legendary pioneer of modern cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Thosani is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. He is certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Thosani currently serves as Associate Director of the Division of Cardiac Electrophysiology and is appointed as Assistant Professor of the Temple University School of Medicine. He is actively involved in multiple clinical and translational research efforts, and is committed to teaching and mentoring residents and cardiology fellows.
