About Me

Ryan Candee is a Colorado native who grew up in Denver. He graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology. Ryan then went on to pursue his Physician Assistant degree from one of the top-rated Physician Assistant programs in the country, the University of Colorado. He completed his training and graduated magna cum laude in the summer of 2014. He became a board-certified Physician Assistant that summer. Ryan then relocated to Colorado Springs shortly thereafter to join Matthews-Vu Medical Group to work in an integrated family medicine practice.

Ryan’s special interests include preventative medicine, pediatrics, and asthma care. He provides compassionate care for patients of all ages and has completed additional training in pediatrics. He enjoys building long-lasting relationships with
new and existing patients across the lifespan. He also continues to be active with the University of Colorado PA program, volunteering as a community member in the admissions process.


In his spare time, Ryan enjoys all of the outdoors that Colorado Springs has to offer, as well as golfing, skiing, reading, and traveling. He also enjoys guest speaking in high school science classes in the Colorado Springs area.
