Dr. McDaid performed hand surgery on my son Josh twenty years ago. Today, I received my "Happy Holidays" email from OAA, and it reminded me once again of the amazing impression Dr. McDaid left on my son at that time. The compassion, quality of care and Dr. McDaid's warm, friendly demeanor and expertise in easing the fears and worries of a young child when facing surgery, instilled in my son the goal of "becoming a doctor when he got older". Well, fast forward twenty years, and that little boy graduated medical school this year and is currently a practicing physician doing what he loves. I want to say a very big thank you to Dr. McDaid and his wonderful staff for making such a positive impression upon my son at a very scary time in his life. Without a doubt, the seed of my son's wonderful accomplishment was planted by Dr. McDaid all those years ago. Happy Holidays to you all!
