About Me

Katie Farah, MD, serves as the associate program director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program and medical director of the McCandless Endoscopy Center. She specializes in therapeutic endoscopy, pancreaticobiliary disorders and functional bowel disorders.

She earned her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where she also received her bachelor’s degree. Dr. Farah completed her internal medicine internship and residency as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital. She is board-certified in gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. She joined the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health in 2006.
