About Me

Marcia Mitre, MD, is a gastroenterologist with the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and studied as a fellow in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia.

Dr. Mitre is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology.
