About Me
Dr. Michael Mlecko grew up in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA and earned his Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1997. After completing his Residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University, he went on to complete a Fellowship in Gastroenterology also at Temple. Since joining the practice in 2003, Dr. Mlecko has been active in clinical research as well as proficient in advanced therapeutic procedures such as Ercp, laser treatments and dilations. Dr. Mlecko also monitors and reviews capsule endoscopies as well as thermal hemorrhoid treatments. Dr. Mlecko is certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and the American Gastroenterology Society of Endoscopy.
