Eugene A. Scioscia, Jr., MD is the Vice Chairman of Clinical Operations, Department of OB/GYN for Allegheny Health Network. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, Conn.
Dr. Scioscia is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He has numerous academic achievements and awards including the APOG Excellence in Teaching and CREOG Excellence in Resident Education awards.
Dr. Scioscia currently serves as Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee at West Penn Hospital and is a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Allegheny General Hospital. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff, Information System, Credentials, Chairmen’s Executive and Department Chairmen’s Committees at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Scioscia is Clinical Associate Professor (Adjunct) in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Temple University School of Medicine and Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Drexel University College of Medicine.
