About Me

James J. Rowland, MD is an obstetrician/gynecologist at West Penn Hospital. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology at St. Joseph University, he completed his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Rowland is a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Operating Committee at West Penn Hospital. He specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with an expertise that includes cervical cancer, gynecologic cancer, ovarian cancer, pelvic inflammatory disease and uterine cancer.
