About Me
Gina M. Rooker, MD, is a urologist in the Division of Urology at Allegheny General Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and subsequently completed her chief residency in urology at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Dr. Rooker completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She specializes in urology with an additional expertise in urologic oncology (tumors/cancers) and cryosurgery, a surgical method useful in treating cancers.
Dr. Rooker is a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Urological Association and Pittsburgh Urologic Society. She is certified by the American Board of Urology with a subspecialty certification in Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Rooker has had many articles published in the Journal of Urology and has made many presentations to medical assemblies.
Dr. Rooker currently serves as Clinical Instructor, Division of Urology and Clinical Instructor in the Department of OB/GYN at Allegheny General Hospital. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Chatham University and an assistant professor at the University of Missouri in Kansas.
