Yadavendra S. Rajawat, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Allegheny General Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India and completed his residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Trenton, N.J. Dr. Rajawat completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, a cardiology fellowship at Baylor College and an interventional and a echocardiography fellowship at Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Rajawat is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine (Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology). He specializes in cardiovascular diseases with expertise that includes aortic disease, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, cardiac catheterization, heart attack, heart failure, hypertension and nuclear cardiology.
