Dr. Lana Y. Schumacher, MD, is a thoracic surgeon at Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny Valley Hospital, Forbes Hospital and Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion. She earned her medical degree from Charles R Drew University of Medicine and Science. She completed her residency at Stanford University Medical Center. Her two fellowships were completed at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Schumacher was certified in surgery through the American Board of Surgery and thoracic surgery through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
