Tariq J. Cheema, MD, is a member of the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for Allegheny Health Network. He received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan and completed his chief and general family practice residency at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.Va. Dr. Cheema completed his residency in internal medicine and a chief and general fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Allegheny General Hospital.
Dr. Cheema is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine (Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease).
Dr. Cheema specializes in pulmonary disease with expertise in asthma, COPD, emphysema, lung cancer, lung conditions, pulmonary hypertension, sleep apnea and sleep disorders.
