About Me
Srinivas Murali, MD, is the Director, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Madras in Pondicherry, India and completed his assistant residency and residency in internal medicine at Jewish Hospital & Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed two fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn and University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Murali is a member of the American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America and International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Murali currently serves as Medical Director of the McGinnis Cardiovascular Institute at Allegheny General Hospital. He is Professor of Medicine, Drexel University College of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
